Ok, so we took a trip with some friends to this local animal exhibit and it was a super fun day. We saw all sort of animals doing all sorts of things. There was a dog show, pony show, dog leading geese show you name it. Jess and our friend Fred even got a falcon put on their heads. They even had loads of games for the kids to play. It was so so much fun. We are so thankful for our friends who invited us!
Ducks in a row
Ok, so this would be two mini vans full in the States. I was actually riding my bike taking these pictures. I do realize how talented that is.
Carousel
When Mamaw and Papaw left they left Some money under Ali’s pillow for the kids to do something fun. So, we took them here! They love the carousel but don’t often get to do it. What a fun treat. Thanks Mamaw and Papaw!!!!
After posting these pictures I realize two things. One, our broken camera lens is truly broken. Two, it looks as if Mark is having the most fun! Hahaha, and he was free!
Visit from Pastor Brad
We were recently blessed by a visit from a pastor at our church. We showed him around town and he took us out to eat! We even ate quick burger and the kids were like thinking he was the best guy ever. Coming to town and taking us to quick burger win them over well, quickly. We are so blessed to have a church that love us and cares about us. Thanks BBC for you love and care!
The city wide garage sale
Well, every year twice a year is a city wide garage sale. Lots of fun had by all! Vendors from far and wide sell their goods along with all the townsfolk who bring their stuff down to the street to sell. it is a very interesting and cultural experience for us. It is also a time for us to buy what we need for super cheep. When we were done selling our stuff we headed out to find our treasures. Much to our delight we found some children’s magazines for the kids, well needed pants for Zoe, and several books to add to my collection of interesting books to read in French in the USA! It was a super great and relatively cheep afternoon until we saw the candy vendors. Too bad we don’t have a picture. It was like tables and tables long full of every kind of candy imaginable. Needless to say we bought a tiny overpriced bad of candy. Again, so sad we don’t have a picture cause then it would have lasted longer. We were also able to find a French program for Ali to continue her French learning and two little house on the prairie DVDs. I love garage sales cause I go home with tons of stuff but spend next to nothing. And, we were able to donate all the stuff we didn’t sell and our load will be lighter coming home.
Canons
Geneva
We dropped off Mamaw and Papaw in Geneva and had an enjoyable last day. There was a huge pot and huge chess sets! So fun.

We actually stayed a while and played a few games. I won’t mention who won.

3d paintings
Ok so we have seen different versions of 3D painting in France. This one was by far the most convincing. We started making bets because some of us were convinced it was really a 3D scene. So, the pictures do not do it justice but we had to try to capture it.

Someone has some major skills!
