More skatepark

This is what Zoe does at the skatepark. Zoe loves to climb up a certain ramp and then slide down on her tummy. She does it the entire time without rest! Too funny but also soooooo disgusting. I can hardly stand it but she is so happy :). And, I have to wash her jacket afterwards. Bummer but hey, it’s fun.

French sales

Twice a year the French retailers are required by law to have huge sales or clearances to boost the economy and make room for new merchandise. They last about a month and as the sale progresses the prices and deals get better and better. Instead of having normal window dollars they get rather creative to make a point that everything must go. These are just a few pictures of what you may see in the windows if you in France during the season of the sale!

Valentine’s Day

Well, this is the only picture I have but not the only thing Mark did for me for Vday. When I got home from school these were sitting on the table and as I was taking my jacket off the buzzer rang and when I enquired who it could be Mark said, the babysitter! So, we went out! We ate at a Thai restaurant. He also took me to a shop I have been eyeing and I bought a shirt that was on sale that I had been watching get cheaper as the sales here went on and on. I’ll explain the sales in a different post. Well, while we were out he also pulled out a ring he had made me! It is so cool. Sorry, I will get a picture :). I had such a fun evening. The restaurant took two and a half hours but this is normal and fun in France. We had a ton of time to talk and enjoy our night out. Thanks honey! I appreciate all you are and do for me!

Ali and Micah learning how to ride a bike

We went to a used bike fair on Saturday and scored a great bike a a great price. It is a little big for Micah but perfect for Ali. We’ve spent several hours today and yesterday at the park learning how to ride! It has been fun but not painless 🙂 Both kids scraped their knees yesterday. Ali ripped her pants but can ride with Mark chasing her!
