Things we miss but make

We have enjoyed a few foods at home that we can’t get so easily here so we are making them. Two of those things are kefir and crackers. Someone here had some kefir grains and shared them with me and we make our own yummy kefir. We also have missed crackers and so I looked up a recipe and busted out my rolling pin. They are super super yummy! Thought I’d share some pictures of both!

Our sunset

With all the wet and dreary weather here Mark and I were both surprised to see pink out our window. We ran to the balcony and enjoyed the sunset! Mark grabbed the camera and practiced some shots. I hope these pictures make you feel as good as the sunset made us feel. It was like a piece of home.

A carousel nearby!

Here are some pictures of a carousel nearby. We love watching and we love riding even more! The kids have gotten to ride once and we will take them once more sometime soon. Jess watched them set it up. They drove up with a truck and two women set this puppy up piece by piece. It was quite amazing and the ride being here brings us a bit of joy and something fun to look at!
