There are tents in the plaza. Guess what is in one of the tents?! Animals!!!!!! I saw… 1 donkey, 2 goats, 1dog, 1fatty pig, at least 1sheep, 2 geese, & tons & tons & tons & tons & tons of hay!!
We played in snow!!!! For the first time!!!!! We showed the ladies cheese shop our snow balls!!

A friend just sent us a picture of the finished cookies! I wrote everyones name on a cookie and used them as name tags! It was fun and tasted great.
This is the view off of our balcony! It snowed on thanksgiving and this is the product of the snow! Il neige! I don’t think any of us realized just how cold it has to be when it snows. Brrr. I promptly went out on Saturday and bought a warm hat and scarf. Why put it off any longer ehhh!
Don’t worry grandma! All she wants for Christmas is her two front teeth! Ali just lost her second tooth. I am so happy for her. She would love it if the whole entire world knew so here I am doing my part in letting my peeps know.
Thanks to the Smiths we got an early Christmas. Zoe got a new baby, the boys got a new ball and some new cars, Ali got some littlest pet shop animals. They all were more than pleased. Zoe fed her baby right away. They boys and Ali haven’t put their toys down since! Thanks Chris and Berta!
So Thanksgiving was a super good time this year. We had friends come over and eat with us! Even one of our teachers and her family came over! Ali made her first French friend and she happened to be learning English in school. We hope they will come visit us again! During dinner it started to snow and the Spangler’s ran outside to see it! It is the first time the kids have seen it snow. I can not put into words how thankful we are for our lives here in Chambery and for our friends here! This Thanksgiving was especially wonderful!
Caleb fell asleep on his floor in what Mark would call the cheerleader pose. Hahaha! We had to take some pictures. Don’t worry, we moved him to his bed after taking these pictures.
We rearranged our living room for the holidays. Now we can see out the window and it is a beautiful view! I wish you could all come sit and have a coffee with me and check out the evening sky!
I am so excited to announce that I found a table cloth at the market! I have been shopping around for a table cloth for our table. Our furnish apartment came styled with 70 and prior fashion. That means we had a really special orange flowered table cloth. We could totally deal with it for sure but even Micah commented on it’s appearance. Since I spend a lot of time in the kitchen I really wanted something we all enjoyed sooner than later. Well, after shopping around for prices and styles I found this! I also made some candle stick holders out of glass juice bottles, rice and coffee. I sooooo love it and the rest of the family loves it too! Something inexpensive to make us feel more at home.
