More And More Pics

The helicopter needed some maintenance and so a friend popped in from the US to help us out.

Visiting with some friends.  We took a break on school and did some work digging a trench for some yams.  Haddie played in the dirt.  It was awesome!

Caleb is working with a form of bamboo here.

Sisters 🙂

This is the cutest view!  Hadassah loves to wake up and immediately play with Zoe or look out the window.  Today she is doing both.

Going to the Chapel part one

So my dear friend just recently got married and I was invited to be apart of their wedding.  For fun, here are some pictures.  These are pics of the court wedding and the party afterwards.

We got a front row seat in the room

The happy couple afterwards

I love this pic with the flag in the background.

The after party was nice.   I got to meet lots of new people.  We ate and ate.

A second post coming soon of the church wedding.  (Assuming I have internet)

Zoe’s stitches

Our poor girl was riding her bike with me and Hadassah on our walk.  Some chickens came into the path and Zoe thought they may become violent because they weren’t ones that we know and they had chicks.  So she went off roading and fell on a tree trunk.  She split her leg right open.  I called a friend who happens to be a doc for advice and she popped on over and stitched her up on our bed.  Poor Zoe.  She was a trooper!

It has since healed beautifully.  And don’t worry there was a numbing shot to numb the pain!

Hadassah’s Bday

Happy happy first bday to Hadassah!  We had a party with our sweetest friends in the village.  Here are some sweet pics including her cake and a gift one family brought her.  We played dodge ball and SPUD with everyone and ate a fantastic meal together. Everyone seemed to enjoy both.  We are so blessed to have such a sweet little girl and some great friends to help do life with.

Time to catch up

We’ve been without internet for several months so here are pics and more pics.

Here is a baby sized cabbage from my garden.  So cute all of them.

Purple pea pods!  I got the seeds from a friend here and I’ve never seen purple pods!  The peas are still green.  I’m hoping to grow a whole ridge this season.
Grilling out!  It was raining hard in the dry season!  We thought it would pass but Mark ended up grilling with an umbrella! Love that man.  Taking one for the team.

Just cuteness beyond belief

Sweet girls.  Sister time!

Hanging out with friends for Christmas

I didn’t take many pictures, as is often the case when I’m enjoying myself.  We had three skits or reenactments of the Story of Jesus Birth.  Anyways, we had a great day involving a ton of food and lots of games including a water fight.  â€‹â€‹

‘Tis the Season

We went to a carol service last night, of which I have no photos.  Rest assured Haddie was cute as usual.  She hollered along to the singing and then crawled under and around people’s feet and chair utterly distracting people.  Anyways today we are making and baking things and spending lots of time with friends and family.

We are enjoying our trip to YaoundĂ©.  We come every year so the kids can enjoy academics and extra curricular activities with their peers.   Here are some pictures of us with some friends here in YaoundĂ©.
