3d paintings

Ok so we have seen different versions of 3D painting in France. This one was by far the most convincing. We started making bets because some of us were convinced it was really a 3D scene. So, the pictures do not do it justice but we had to try to capture it.

Someone has some major skills!

Dessert

Ok, so we didn’t eat all these things but we did take pictures :). Yummmmm

I think the little running man is a foreshadow of what must come if we eat here.

On the way to Mt. Blanc

Mark’s parents came to France to visit us and took us to a must see in Europe, Mont Blanc! Thanks Mamaw and Papaw. Since we are here going to school we had the advantage of a car and a tour guide! It was so amazing and awesome having a native person tell us all kinds of things about history and the evolution of France in the past fifty years. That was all just bonus. So, here is part one of our journey.

Our first view of Mont Blanc and one of it’s famous glaciers.

These are macaroons!

I’m not even sure what to say. These are so so so good. They are crunchy and sweet and come in all sorts of flavors. They are chewy yet melt away in your mouth. We do this when people are in town cause it is a must try when you are in France.
